At the State level, Barbara served as various Chairs, Recording Secretary, and Second Vice President. work on BPW matters independently from her home for a year.  This
afforded her time and the opportunity to look at the importance of BPW in
her life and what BPW means to her.  The history of pride in BPW, its
members and its mission is what brought her back into BPW and Janice is
committed to the future of the Federation.

Attendance at the Policy In Action Conference in Washington DC, the
Governors Conference in Pittsburgh, both in 2006, and the many Equal Pay Day
Rally's in Harrisburg have influenced her life.

Serving as District Four Director for three years with a focus on
communication to its members and getting its members to serve and be
focused on BPW issues handed down from BPW/PA and BPW/USA.

Within Janice’s Local she has served many chairs and committee members and
was honored by her District as Club President of the Year in 1997.  For the
upcoming year Janice is the second vice president of her Local.

library, American Cancer Society, Curwensville on the Go, charter member of
the Mountain Laurel Kennel Club and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

Married for 32 years to husband Gary with daughter & son-in-law, Kristin and

meeting deadlines and financial obligations.
